# Connecting networks

Planned networks, their limits, and demo channels you can use today. Live posting is coming soon.

## Overview

Live posting is coming soon. No network is switched on yet, so today every channel is a demo channel: posts are scheduled and "published" to a simulator, with sample stats and comments.

When a network goes live, SocialPostScheduler will use only its official API. Open Channels → Connect, pick a network and follow the sign-in. Most networks use OAuth; Bluesky uses an app password; WhatsApp uses the Meta Cloud API.

If a token expires or is revoked, the channel shows a reconnect banner and failed posts are retried up to 3 times.

- In Bluesky, open Settings → Privacy and security → App passwords and create a new one.
- In SocialPostScheduler, choose Bluesky, enter your handle (for example `you.bsky.social`) and the app password.
- Never use your main Bluesky password. You can revoke the app password any time.

WhatsApp Channels and Status have no public publishing API. SocialPostScheduler broadcasts an approved template to opted-in subscribers and gives a copy-to-phone handoff for Channels/Status.
