# Ideas, RSS, evergreen and snippets

Capture ideas, turn blog posts into social posts automatically, recycle your best posts and reuse hashtag groups.

## Ideas board

Ideas → add an idea with notes and tags. Move it between Ideas, Drafting and Used. "Create post" opens the composer with the idea filled in; when you save, the idea is marked Used and linked to the post.

## RSS automation

RSS automation → paste a blog, news or YouTube feed URL (RSS or Atom), pick channels and a template using `{title}`, `{link}` and `{summary}`.

- Drafts mode: new items wait in Posts → Drafts for review.
- Queue mode: new items go straight into each channel's next queue slot.
- Feeds are checked every 30 minutes; the first check imports the 3 newest items. Errors show on the feed row.

## Evergreen recycling

In the composer tick "Evergreen — re-post every N days". After the post publishes, SocialPostScheduler re-queues a copy every N days, up to 3 times, one copy at a time. Copies are labelled `evergreen`.

## Threads

In the composer click "+ Add part". Part 1 is the main post; parts 2…n are posted as a reply chain on X, Threads and Bluesky, each checked against that network's limit. If a part fails, the post stays published and you get an alert.

## Hashtags & snippets

Save hashtag groups, signatures and reusable text once; insert them from the composer with one click.
